About Me
I am a queer, disabled Tennessean with a passion for amplifying LGBTQIA+ voices and stories. Born in Memphis, Tennessee, I graduated with my BA in English in 2025. I am now a Master's student at UTC and a GTA for First Year Composition.
My work ranges from the deeply personal to the fantastical, covering genres such as fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. I am always pushing myself to experiment and grow as a writer, seeking out new inspiration from the wonderful people around me and the world at large.
I enjoy reading anything I can get my hands on, but right now I'm focused on building a repertoire of work I consider essential. I am broadening my reading horizens to include more diverse stories and deepening my knowledge of the classics along the way.
I have a cat named Allie who is 11 years old this year. She has been my close buddy through thick and thin, supporting my work by always stepping on my keyboard.
What I'm Up To
I am currently pursuing my Master's in English at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. I teach tutorial sections for First Year Composition as a GTA.
I am working towards building a thesis project surrounding Queer Appalachia. Keep a lookout for upcoming content from me about my academic journey!
